Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy applies to the online shop operated by Burma Perfumery Khulna in Khulna, Bangladesh.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage keeps information on your device until it is removed. These technologies have different purposes:
| Purpose | Examples | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential security and sign-in | Laravel session cookie and XSRF-TOKEN; remember-me cookie if that option is used | Session duration depends on server configuration (currently 120 minutes); a remember-me cookie can last longer |
| Requested shopping features | bpk_cart and bpk_wish in local storage | Until cleared or replaced by your browser or the shop interface |
| Preferences | theme and related theme keys in local storage; bpk_analytics_consent cookie | Theme until cleared; analytics choice up to 180 days |
| Optional first-party analytics | bpk_visitor_id visitor cookie | Up to 180 days, renewed on eligible visits after acceptance |
| Optional Google Analytics | _ga and property-specific analytics cookies when configured; bpk_event:* session storage prevents repeated checkout events | Google cookies: controlled by Analytics settings, potentially up to two years. Event deduplication: until the tab session ends. |
Choose or change optional analytics
Optional analytics is off until you accept. Rejecting it leaves sign-in, the cart and checkout available. You can change your choice here at any time. Rejecting stops future optional tracking from this site and requests removal of recognised analytics cookies; it does not erase previously collected records. You can also clear site data in your browser. Browser restrictions and third-party cookie domains can affect removal.
Current analytics choice: Not chosen (off).
Third-party pages
The delivery map can request map tiles and scripts from external providers when the map page is displayed. Opening Google Maps, WhatsApp or another external link can allow that service to use its own cookies under its policy. Cookie choices here do not control those external sites. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
Recently viewed products use session-only browser storage containing up to 15 product IDs. It contains no contact details or device fingerprint and is separate from your cart. You can clear this list from the Recently Viewed section.
